Happy Monday and happy first day of June to you all! I cant believe it's already the middle of 2015. Where did time go? A lot has been happening in my life lately, both on the blog and for me personally. I thought I'd start out this month's posts on an upbeat and positive note by telling you a little bit about some exciting news I got a while back, and what I'm looking forward to in the future!
The News: I'm a Sweat Pink Ambassador!
This happened a while ago, actually. I received the acceptance email on April 23, 2015. I've waited to post about it because I wanted to actually have time to connect with and engage in the community. If you've never heard of #SweatPink, or the company behind it, Fit Approach, then you're in for a treat! Below is their mission statement taken directly from their website, which I think sums up what being a Sweat Pink Ambassador is all about:
I've had the pleasure of connecting with so many women from all over the world (virtually of course - for right now anyway), and everyone who's involved in this fitness community is SUCH an inspiration! I'm honored to be a part of, dare I say, a movement, with like-minded fitness bloggers, professionals, and enthusiasts alike. The movement being empowering women to be their best selves by using fitness and physical activity as a vehicle for personal growth and acceptance. I've experienced this in my own life and can't think of a better way to help others feel the same. I'm really excited for what the future holds with this ambassadorship, and I can't wait to start connecting with other ambassadors both online and in person!
Oh, and a side perk - I get as many pink shoelaces as my heart desires to hand out to all of YOU as a way to spread the word and encourage you to join the movement. What does that mean? It means you'll not only have some awesome bright pink laces to rock on your favorite sneakers, but more that you are a part of something bigger than yourself - a movement of over a thousand women who are encouraging each other to be strong, active, and healthy. I've ordered my first batch, and for starters, I will be handing them out to the wonderful ladies in my classes soon. Can't wait!
Are you ready to lace up and...
